Introduction to "Quotes to Live by from my Mentors & Coaches"

Quotes to Live By
from my Mentors & Coaches

“Introduction”

One Day in Church

Last Sunday my Pastor (Pastor Mark Cowart) was preaching on his theme about Kings (Business Men and Women) and Priest (Ministers, Priest, Pastors and Preachers). He was sharing with the congregation the importance of the relationship between the two and how we are to work “hand in glove” to support and help each other.

He was talking about how businesses (many businesses) are built from a person’s ideas, concepts and insights. He talked about the importance of mentors in our lives to help us discover & expedite our path of accomplishment.

Thus, I got to thinking and an Idea, Concept and Insight started bouncing around in my head. I was then able to ask one of the most powerful questions known to man.

“What If”

What if I took the best quotes from my favorite Mentors and Heroes and put those to paper to share with others with the hopes that they too would be awakened to the wisdom within these short passages.

Being an avid reader, I have been collecting “Quotes to Live By” for many years. Not knowing what to do with them, other than using these quotes to keep me on task and focused.

Now it is time to share.

Please allow me the opportunity to share with you some of my favorite quotes that the Lord has led me to discover. With “discover” being the key word, let me open with a quote that was a gift given to me from my Long Time Mentor, Martial Arts Instructor and Father Figure to me for well over 30 years. His name is Professor Martin T. Buell. His quote goes like this:

“Nothing is ever created. It only discovered.”

Thus, let’s begin our journey with the first in a series of
some discovered wisdom known as the
“Quotes to Live By from my Heroes and Mentors.”

Dedicated to your achievement,
